1. Overview
This policy explains what the 1-Min Mini Game Challenge team ("we") processes when providing the mobile app 1-Min Mini Game Challenge ("the app") and its web version (minigame-challenge.vercel.app), why, for how long, and your rights. We comply with applicable laws including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and the EU GDPR.
2. What we do not collect
- Accounts, real names, email, phone numbers, contacts.
- Camera, microphone, precise location — not used.
- Reading your gallery — the app only writes a video there when you tap Save.
3. What we process and why
| Data | Purpose | Processor |
|---|---|---|
| A random device identifier created on first launch (not the advertising ID), nickname, game, today's-challenge score, that round's input log (touch coordinates and timing — used to replay and verify the run), IP address | Per-game and combined rankings, abuse prevention (submission limits), challenges and replays | Our server |
| App interactions (game start/end, shares, ad rewards), diagnostics (app version, errors, performance), app instance ID, device info (model, OS, language), approximate region (from IP), advertising ID | Analytics, app improvement, ad measurement | Google Firebase Analytics |
| Advertising ID and other device IDs, device info, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions | Serving, personalising and measuring ads; consent management | Google AdMob · Google UMP |
| Purchase receipts and history, a random anonymous purchaser ID | Providing, verifying and restoring purchases (Remove Ads, Video Pro) | Google Play Billing · RevenueCat |
What other people can see
Rankings show your nickname and score to other players — please don't use your real name or contact details (inappropriate words may be masked automatically). A challenge link you share contains your nickname, score, game and round, which appear to whoever opens it and in social-media previews. Posting videos is your choice and is then governed by that platform's policy.
Google Play Data safety summary
- Device or other IDs (the app's device identifier, advertising ID, app instance ID, anonymous purchaser ID) — app functionality (rankings, purchases), analytics, advertising.
- Name (a nickname you choose, not your real name) — app functionality (rankings).
- App interactions and other user-generated content (scores, input logs) — app functionality, analytics.
- Approximate location — not requested by the app; estimated from IP by our ad partner for advertising.
- Diagnostics — analytics. Purchase history — only if you buy something, to provide and restore it.
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Ads and consent
The app shows Google AdMob ads (app open, banner, interstitials between games, rewarded, exit screen). In the EU/UK and similar regions we ask for consent via Google UMP, and Firebase Analytics follows that choice. You can change it anytime under "Ad privacy settings" in Settings and reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings. Rewarded ads play only when you choose them. See Google's partner sites policy.
In-app purchases
Payments are handled by Google Play; we never receive your payment details. RevenueCat verifies and restores purchases using an anonymous ID (RevenueCat privacy policy).
4. Retention
- On your device (bests, recent replays, settings): until you uninstall the app.
- Rankings on our server: daily records are deleted after 30 days and weekly records after 12 weeks; your all-time best and its input log are kept until you ask us to delete them. Access logs (IP) are kept briefly for abuse prevention.
- Data processed by Google and RevenueCat follows their retention policies (Firebase Analytics events up to 14 months).
5. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data. The items in section 3 are shared with the listed services for ads, analytics and payments only. These services and our web hosting (Vercel) may operate outside your country (e.g. the US).
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age set by local law) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we delete it promptly.
7. Your rights and deletion requests
Uninstalling deletes on-device data. To delete your ranking records, email us your nickname and the approximate date and game of your runs — we will delete the server records and input logs promptly. You can change ad consent under "Ad privacy settings" (where applicable).
8. Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date.
